HURRICANE IRMA RESPONSE

OUR IMPACT

Following the passage of Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest hurricanes in our recent history, the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross has been working tirelessly in responding to the tragedy which hit our sister isle of Barbuda, displacing the entire population of the island. Our relief efforts which total upwards of $519,100 US Dollars, and over 3500 volunteer hours included the distribution of Non-Food Items (NFI’s), Donation of Medical Supplies and supporting the Livelihood of Local Fishermen.
